Investigation of drying kinetics of corn

In this paper, the experimental data on drying kinetics of corn in packed and fluidized bed, have been presented. The analysis of the influence of the operation parameters (drying medium velocity i.e. fluidization number, drying medium temperature and height of packed bed) on drying kinetics of corn, has been performed. On the basis of the mathematical models and computer program presented in Ref. (4), the drying kinetics curves of corn have been predicted and compared with experimental data.
