Comparative examination of domestic [Yugoslav] and foreign phosphates quality

DOO "Zorka" - Institute - Sabac - Yugoslavia has started investigation of the semiindustrial food phosphates production possibilities. The results of comparative examination of chemical composition and functional properties of phosphates, intended for use in meat industry (produced by "Zorka" - Sabac - Yugoslavia and Chemische Fabrik - Ladenburg - Germany), are presented. The quality of Yugoslav phosphates is almost equal to that of foreign phosphates, so Yugoslav phosphates could be successfully used in meat industry. The authors considered that there is a need for unification of the international regulations for the methodology of analysing and the quality of the food phosphates.
