Quality estimation on the slaughter line of sides of hogs fed with corn silage and different protein additions

It was examined the influence of silage of wetly gritted corn grains with addition of complementary protein fodder mixture (control group) or with the addition of fried soya grains, fodder yeast and fish flour (experimental group), on the quality of White Meaty hogs on the slaughter line. In experimental group the quality of meat in relation to live weight immediately prior to slaughter, compared with the control group, in the 1st experiment was lower for 0.08 and in the 2nd one for 0.59. Differences were not significant (P0.05). The quantity of meat in warm sides of experimental group, compared with the control group, was higher for 0.05 in the 1st experiment and lower for 0.41 in the 2nd one. Differences were not significant (P0.05). The slaughter yield of experimental group, in relation to the control group, was higher for 0.38 in the 1st experiment and lower for 0.28 in the 2nd one. Differences were not significant (P0.05).
