[Production and technological characteristics of F-2 clone generation of the variety Merlot in Grotzka vine district [Yugoslavia]]

Climate and soil are suitable for growing of the investigated clones of the variety Merlot in Grotzka vine district (Yugoslavia). Average mass of cluster varied from 6.7 g to 135.74 g. Statistically very significant differences are obtained. Average grape yield varied in the dependency of clone, from 0.88 kg/trunk (2,933 kg/ha), to 2.58 kg/trunk (8,632 kg/ha). Statisticallye very significant differences are obtained. Average content of sugar in must varied from 20.58 to 21.30. Statistically significant differences are not obtained. Average content of total acids in must varied from 6.73 g/l to 8.77 g/l. Statistically significant differences are not obtained. Order of cluster mass, grape yield, content of sugar in must and content of total acids in must exibited by F-1 clone generation investigated in Zupa vine district (Yugoslavia) is not repeated in Grotzka vine district (Yugoslavia).
