Bulgarian. With the aim to determine the influence of straw ammonization on some fermentation processes in the rumen two experiments were carried out with 5 calves.A tendency was found for lower pH and concentration of ammonia in the rumen content of calves, that received diet with ammonia treated straw in comparison with calves received not treated straw.
