Influence of the bacterial cancer on the mineral nutrition of the vines

The experiments were carried out with Bolgar variety inoculated on the rootstocks Berlandiery x Riparia Kober 5 BB Rupestris du Lot and Shasia x Beriandiery 41B in two variants - ill and healthy vines. During the vegetation in 3-year period the dynamics of total nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium in the leaves, green shoots and fruit sticks was studied. The firet sample was taken in the begining of July when the vines and the tumours were in an intensive growth, the second - in the middle of august when begin the repening grape processes and the third - in the middle of september when tumour forming process quieted down.The results from the investigations show that the bacterial cancer cause serious disturbance in the mineral nutrition of the vines. With the ageing of the tumours the total nitrogen content decrease 2-3 times but it is too high yet. The phosphorous quantity in the tumours is highest in July and after that it decrease considerably. The potassium content in the tumours is highest in July and after that decrease gradually.But it's content is 2-4 times higher than in the vines.
