Study on fattening and slaughter productivity and meat quality of three-breed hybrid pigs

The study was carried out with 44 tree-breed hybrid pigs, divided into two groups according their origin : I group: (DW x CH) x D; II group: (DW x CH) x BL, and was spread over two periods : growing and fattening up to 100 kg. Results showed that the three-breed hybrid pigs of the above combinations are with a high performance: average daily gain for growing about 450 g and for fattening above 820 g, as well as feed consumption per 1 kg gain for fattening of 3,5 kg.
