Stusy on the effect of heavy metals on ram reproduction

The study was aimed to estimate the effect of lead and cadmium on ram's sexual behaviour and semen output.Higher lead concentrations however, affected adversely the normal course of sexual reflexes, namely prolonging their duration by 1.6 min.The higer lead concentration in the feed rations of rams significantly reduced the number of spermatozoa advancing straight forward.
