Characteristics of the basic reproductive qualities of Belgium Landrace pigs

Bulgarian. A study was made aiming to examine reproductive abilities of Belgian Landrace sows.Sows have shown following reproductive abilities: live born - 8.832, number at 21 day 8.279, whilst only 6.27% dropped out.It was concluded that the sow productivity increased from first to third farrow and decreased slightly at fourth and fifth farrow.
