During 5 control years the livability of both white and brown egg shell crosses has improved, the production of eggs has increased by an average of 30.9 eggs for all crosses (per housed hen), average egg weight increased by 2.4 g, total egg weight increased by 1.9 kg and feed conversion per 1 kg of egg weight decreased by 0.4 kg
