It is important to investigate diallel system in order to get a general overview of hybrids with different genetical backgrounds. The inheritance of quantitative characters, degrees of tolerance and environmental adaptibility can be estimated via this system. The aim of this study was to characterize the increasing dry matter of the respective partners in the diallel system during the vegetation period and the decrease caused by unfavourable conditions, based upon genetic, meteorological and soil conditions. These data provided information about conditions favourable or unfavourable for the plants
