Two follair applications of urea at rate of 0.5 at full bloom stage and two weeks later were practiced to Shada-Baidah (seeded) and Thompson seedless grape cultivars to study their response to applied nitrogen. Urea spray increased berry weight, seed number and weight (in shada-Baidah only), cluster weight, and total yield per vine in both cultivars. The rate of weight increase in berry, cluster and total yield per vine was the highest in shada-Baidah cultivar. These results were explained on the basis of presence of seeds
