The objective of the study was to develop a dwarf strain with yellow color flower. Clivia miniata regal a strain with yellow color (pollen source) was crossed to a dwarf strain with red color flower (female). (1) In F1 production all 32 plants exhibited light color, non glossy, long and narrow leaves ad salmon color flowers. This result was expected since the pollen parent had dominant characters of light color, non glossy, long and upright leaves. (2) Selfed F1 obtained yellow flower plants. Leaf number and length, flower number of F2 yellow flower plants were namely similar as the female parent (dwarf plant) of F1. The characteristics of dwarf were incorporated. (3) Plant with yellow flower may have green color stem but without red pigmentation in the leaves. Twelve F1 plants were selfed to obtain F2 plantlets. In F2, red and green stem color segregated about 7:3 ratio. And F2 yellow flower plant were crossed either to red or orange flower (pollen source) and obtained a segregation ratio of 2:1. (4) In coloration of yellow flower difference among individuals were observed only in L value however a and b values were almost similar
