[The seed borne diseases of triticale and the posibilities of seed protection]

Over the period 1992-1995 at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture the seed borne pathogens of triticale and following seed dressers were tested : TMTD (Thiram), hexathuram, baitan-universal, vincit, beret-universal (rate 2 kg/t), ferrax, vitavax 200 FF (3 l/t), benlat (2,5 kg/t). On average during 1992-1995 owing to seed treatment triticale grain yield has increased by 0,25-0,53 t/ha. The highest yield increase was obtained due to beret (0,53), beret-universal (0,53), benlat (0,47) and baitan-universal (0,47) application.
