[Development of agriculture be means of cooperation]

The present conditions of agriculture in Estonia, the problems and mistakes in working out agricultural policy are described. It is suggested that one of the possible solutions for improving the situation could be collective purchasing of farm machinery and using it on cooperative principles. The principles of cooperation in farming, the advantages of cooperation as well as different forms of cooperatives are explained. A conclusion is drawn that cooperatives undoubtedly have an important role in the development of agriculture.
