Use of computers and software in peasant farms

The results of the questioning on the use of computers and software on peasant farms in Latvia are analysed. The aim of the questioning was to learn: (1) the number of farmers using the computing services of the regional offices and (2) the number of farmers possessing and using their own computers. The questioning results show that 10-50 farmers in every region use one of five programs at the computing services. Only 1-7 farmers in a region have personal computers.
