Estimation of correlations between economics traits in chickpea genotypes

Seed yield per plant was positively and significantly correlated with various yield components in chickpea except days taken to flowering. Seed weight was negatively correlated with number of pods per plant and seeds per pod. Number of seeds per pod was negatively correlated with protein content. Genetic correlations were generally higher than the phenotypic correlation.
