Outbreak of African horse sickness like disease: Letter to editor

Since the first outbreak of the disease in 1960, no case has been reported in Pakistan. However, recently in an equine farm a severe outbreak claiming over 30 adult animals was reported. This farm is located in isolation at Jhang Road at about 60 kilometer from Faisalabad and has very costly 300 horses/mares, kept for horse racing.
