The flowering and fruiting phenomena, physiological responses to the two phenomena and frequencies over a four-year period of 53 forestation tree species (including potential ones) were observed in the forest Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw [Philippines]. Herbarium materials of the species were collected and authenticated for reference. The species' flowering and fruiting calendar was prepared. The fruits and/or seeds of the species were described and depicted in line-drawing to facilitate recognition and correct identification in the field
