Relationship between the selected physico-chemical soil properties and cadmium content in meadow sward

The results of studies concerning the relationship between the soil factors and cadmium content in meadow vegetation, have been presented. The samples of the soil and plants were collected in the valley of Obra river and at the territory of the Zulawy Wislane. It was found that uptake areas and accumulation of cadmium by the meadow plants on the territories, being situated far from the contamination sources, was dependent on cooperation of the soil factors such as pH, share of organic matter and phosphorus content
