Study of the output of the Pelican elutriating machine. Application to planning maintenance works on water-courses

On the basis of the operation of a Pelican elutriating machine, observed when working on 2 water-courses, the cycle duration, number of cycles at one working station and the time needed for changing stations were determined. These allowed to construct a nomogram and hence determine the technical output and operating efficiency of the machine. The results of the study may prove useful for planning maintenance works and estimation of their feasibility under the constrain of the ecological deadlines
