Effect of organic and mineral fertilizers on health and quality features of winter triticale grain (Bolero cultivar)
1996
Narkiewicz-Jodko, M. (Akademia Rolnicza, Wroclaw (Poland). Katedra Technologii Zboz) | Gil, Z. | Krezel, R.
No adverse effects of the most common fungi (Alternaria alternata, Epicoccum purpurascens and Sclerotium rolfsi) on grain quality was observed. Also fungi of Penicillium and Aspergillus genera did not have a damaging effect on the grain, which was due to its low moisture content (12.8 percent). The grain obtained from plants fertilized with manure and increased N (150 kg/ha) rates exhibited high vitreosity, protein content and alpha-amylase activity as well as relatively low weight of 1000 grains, hectoliter weight and accuracy. The increased N (150 kg/ha) rates and lignite coal or lignite coal + manure treatment of the previous crop increased the weight of 1000 grains, hectoliter weight and accuracy
