1995
Avramiuc, M. | Strajeru, Silvia | Fartais, L. | Savu, G. (Banca de Gene, Suceava (Romania))
As a result of a morphological and phenological analysis of 20 local populations of horse bean, coming from the mountainous zone of Bucovin, it was found out a greater variability to some morphological characteristics (number of flowers per inflorescence and number of pods per node). Some populations became conspicuous by a medium higher than 6 leaflets per leaf (A-1), flowers per inflorescence (F-10, FM-6) or pods per node (V-1). As for the behaviour to diseases and pests, 4 populations (BZ-5, M-7, MS-3, P-1) from the 20 analysed had a very good behavoiur, with resistance to corn weevils, aphides, blight and viroses.
