Cumulation dynamism of lead in urban vegetation on an example of Acer platanoides L.
1996
Chladna, A. (Slovak Academy of Sciences, Nitra (Slovak Republic). Branch for the Biology of Woody Plants)
In comparing the limit criteria of Pb content for assimilative organs of woody plants, for forest, urban and farm land we can see that the Pb content in leaves of Acer platanoides and in urban soil of Bratislava exceeds the given limits. This creates a potential risk of endangerment of both nutrition and growth of woody plants in urban greenery and therefore the food chain in growing crops (e.g. vegetables in gardens) in the urban environment (of Bratislava, Slovak Republic)
