Content of somatic cells, fat, protein and lactose in milk from Slovakian Spotted dairy cows (n=133) was investigated. Based on results of analyses, there were explored significant differences between groups of dairy cows with an amount of up to 400,000 somatic cells per liter of milk and over 400,000 somatic cells per liter of milk. There were many significant differences in the contents of fat (15 kg; P lower than or equal to 0.01), proteins (10 kg; P lower than or equal to 0.05) and lactose (18 kg; P lower than or equal to 0.01) and production of milk per lactation (364 kg; P lower than or equal to 0.01) as well
