Presence of Coenobia rufa (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) in Thuringia (Germany), its habitat and nature conservation measures
1997
Grosser, N. (Fachbereich Landschaftsarchitektur, Erfurt (Germany). Fachhochschule Erfurt) | Thiele, A.
The noctuid moth Coenobia rufa has a patchy distribution in Germany. Only a few remarks concern Thuringia. The habitat discovered in the present research was the plant association of Juncetum subnodulosi with the assumed food plant Juncus subnodulosus. The influence of management measures on population development of C. rufa is discussed. To validate our implications of supporting management measures it is necessary to collect more detailed information about primary and secondary habitats, migration ability and population dynamics of the species
