The current state of Polish agriculture and adjustment processes of the Polish agriculture with a view to integration with the EU are presented. The relevant statistical data and comparative and descriptive methods were used in the analysis. This paper considers: integration of Polish agriculture in the fundamental areas (trade and institutional environments, regulation and real conditions), consequences for Polish agriculture of accession to the European Union, and adjustment processes in Polish agriculture
