An increased occurrence of Salmonella enteritidis in poultry
1997
Novak, S. (Statny Veterinarny Ustav, Zvolen (Slovak Republic))
The paper surveys the occurrence of the serotype Salmonella enteritidis and the other serotypes of salmonellas in poultry examined during 1994-1996. Experiences and results of other authors, concerning an increase in the occurrence of the serotype salmonella enteritidis in poultry breeding compared to previous years in relation to the other serotypes of salmonellas in the 90's, were confirmed. This fact is also reflected in the occurrence of salomonella infections in contaminated foodstuffs in the human population
