Factor analysis of water reservoir interactions with selected components of the environment
1998
Hasik, O. (Consulting Engineer, Ostrava (Czech Republic))
The study proved that the factor analysis is possible to use for research into water reservoir interactions with the enviroment. A part of the hydrological and enviromental components was used, these for two water reservoir sets. A prognosis of some interaction characteristics was published. The new paper just presents results of 32 factor analysis calculations, which made use of the former and new components and two former reservoir sets and two new sets, too. An original computer programme was introduced. The predicted interactions between the technical and the enviromental data have been confirmed, both for two new sets of reservoirs too. The relation between the dam height and the settlement density has been discovered as a strong interaction. The loading schemes from the basic data matrices discover the interactions. The loading schemes from the transposed matrices select the groups of reservoirs agreeable to the discovered interactions. This study indicates the direction of the interaction of the interaction research
