Effects of chemical seed treatments on seed storability and yield of BRB 9 barley
1993
Pornnipa Lertsilpmongkol (Lampang Agricultural Research and Training Centre, Lampang (Thailand))
Barley seed in every treatment that stored at ambient storage would have high moisture content but lower in percentage of germination, vigor, field emergence and yield than stored at condition storage. At the fourth month of storage, the use of insecticide seed treatments was not affected seed germination but was effected on seed vigor especially at ambient storage. When the time was longer, seed vigor was lower. Using of Posse 25 ST was decreased seed germination and field emergence. There were not significant in day to heading, plant height, the percentage of sclerotium blight, yield component and insect damage under two storage conditions and chemical seed treatments
