Phytocenological and ecophysiological changes in weed vegetation of small grains in dependence on the altitude. [A short version of doctoral dissertation]

This study presents the analysis of vertical zone positions of vegetation of small grains of the height grade from 195 to 1270 m alt. In lowland and hilly regions, it has been determined and described the same weed association (ass. Consolido-Polygonetum avicularae Kojic, 1973), while the differences appeared at the level of subassociation typicum, that is, biforietosum radiansae subass. new. A larger discontinuity appears between hill and mountain regions. In the second case, a new association has appeared for the science: ass. Galeopsi-Brassicetum campestrae ass. new that belongs to another vegetation alliance. After harvesting the crops, the same associations remain in both hill and mountain regions but they are presented by different subassociations such as kickxio-setarietosum glaucae subass. new and inadultosum subass new. The differentiation of weed association in subassociation and facies has been determined by analysing the medium factors using methods of ordination and classification, and gradient analysis.
