[Occurrence of Ni [nickel] and Cr [chromium] in the surface soil layers with their increased contents in the Zeta valley [Montenegro, Yugoslavia]]

In this paper we present our results about investigation of total and available contents of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr) from surface and under surface layer of two types of arable soils in the Zeta valley (Montenegro, Yugoslavia). The investigations included the territory was previously determined as possible contaminated areas. The studied area consisted of alluvial (34 samples) and brown shallow soil (26 samples). It was found the high contents of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), and low content of available chromium (Cr).
