A study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of the number of insemination of sheep on their conception rate. Parameter values were registered at single and twofold inseminations. The twofold insemination must have ensured continuous flow of viable spermatozoa towards the oviducts for a longer lasting period, which enabled timely fertilization of the ovum resulting in optimum conception rate results.
