This study presents the analysis of obtained results on delayed chlorophyll fluorescence (DF) methods and on experimental studies and theoretical considerations of this fluorescence in maize inbred intact leaf segments. Moreover, the relation between DF (delayed chlorophyll fluorescence) and the photosynthetic process in a thylakoid membrane with the active participation of chlorophyll molecule was analysed. The break points for the observed maize inbred lines are : 30 and 55 deg C (inbred 4), 33 and 53 deg C (inbred 5), 32 and 50 deg C (inbred 6) and 28 and 47 deg C (inbred 7). They designate structural changes in chlorophyll molecule, which regardless their intensity and characteristics, cause significant changes in functions of the chlorophyll molecule, thylakoid membrane, i.e. maize inbred line leaves. Naturally, these changes in a leaf function point to a significant decrease in the total bioproduction, i.e. to the decrease of observed maize inbreds yield.
