The concentration of the copper in blood serum of the heifers Black and White breed on district commune Podgorica [Montenegro, Yugoslavia] pre partum and post partum

The contents of the copper in the blood serum of the heifers Black and White breed in district of the commune Podgorica (Montenegro, Yugoslavia) pre partum and post partum were examined. The results obtained show that contents of the copper in blood serum was 1.77 ppm of heifers in eight and ninth month pregnancy and 1.82 ppm post partum in average. Average contents of the copper in the soil was 2.72 ppm, and average contents of the copper in winter ration was 8.71 ppm and summer ration 8.39 ppm.
