Possibilities for application of herbicide combination Acetochlor and Dichlormid before and after emergence of corn

This paper deals with the possibilities for application of herbicide combination acetochlor+dichlormid to control weeds before and after emergence of corn crop. Herbicides acetochlor+dichlormid and its combinations with herbicide atrazine applied before and after emergence of corn and weeds showed significant efficiency in reducing number of weed species, total number of weeds and mass of weeds per area units. The best efficiency was achieved by treatment before emergence of corn and weeds, especially in decrease of weed biomass. Results of this examination show that the combinations of herbicides acetochlor+dichlormid, single or combined with atrazine could be successfully used for weed control during the emergence of corn or immediately after the emergence of corn and weeds.
