The possibility of applying the fluorimetric benzamidine method for determining the content of inverted sugar in sugar beet from aluminium suphate polarization filtrates was studied in this paper. It was shown that there is a reliable, statistically very significant correlation between the value of the content of inverted sugar in sugar beet determined by the standard method of the Berlin Institute and of that determined by the fluorimetric benzamidine method from aluminium sulphate polarization filtrate.
