The parent material discontinuity results in the appearance of two maximums in the dithionite, oxalate, and pyrophosphate extractable compounds depth functions of Fe, Al, and Mn, corresponding to the buried and modern parts of the profiles. The more sensitive to the parent material changes along depth is the distribution of the forms Fed, Alo, and especially Mno. Because of the higher solubility and migration ability of Mn, its extractable compounds depth functions reflect the onset of the migration processes in the buried and modern part of one of the studied soils as in the uniform unit. The total content behaviour of the studied elements with depth is less indicative.
