The effect of fertilization of rangeland on severly eroded leached cinamonic forest soil in the region of Eastern Rhodopes is treated in the paper. Data for chemical composition of hay and soil by the end of the field experiment were reported in this paper. Table 1 presents data for raw protein, total phophorus and cellulose in the hay, as well as hydrolitic nitrogen and mobile forms of P2O5 and K2O in the soil. Fertilization of natural rangeland increases the yield of hay with 458% and the amaunt of root remains with 232%. Nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization increases the content of raw protein in the hay up to 20% and that of phosphorus - up to 25%.
