Veleva, A. (Rajonna Veterinarna Stantsiya, Silistra (Bulgaria)) | Khristov, Kh.
Fecal specimens from 57 domestic cats of different breeds and ages were examined for isosporosoa. Oocysts were detected in feces of 33 cats (I. felis in 28 and I. rivolta in 5). Treatment with combinations of anticoccidial drugs (Dimerasol 33CA, Sulfachlorpyrazin, Trisulmix) and antibiotics (Chlorizone, Chlortetrazone, Shotapen, Peni-Kell LD, Streptopen) resulted in full recovery of the infested cats.
