On the problem of impruving the reproductive characters of silk worm (Bombyx Mori L)

An investigation was conducted for the purpose of assessing the possibilities existing for improving the basic reproductive characters of silk worm by developing and extending in the production of complex three and tetra hybrids.It was found that all three and tetra hybrids studied surpassed in number and weight the normal seeds in a batch of the regionally mass extended in production single hybrid Vratsa 35 x Merefa 2, by respectively 4.27 - 16.10% and 6.61 - 22.87%.
