Sperm production of young buffalo bulls

The sperm of 5 young buffalo bulls from the breed Bulgarian Murrah, has been estimated regarding the following traits: volume of ejaculation, percent initial motility of spermatozoa, concentration of cells in ml and number of nonmotile spermatozoa.Significant differences have been established amoung the separate bulls regarding most values of the studied traits of the sperm. The highest values of the initial motility and concentration of cells in the sperm have been established in the spring and summer.From all climatic factors, the atmospheric pressure has significantly influenced only the volume ejaculation and the motility of the spermatozoa.
