Milk yield and milk content comparison in sheep of the South Bulgarian Corriedale and North Caucasian breeds

Studies were carried out with two group of 10 lacting's sheep each of the South Bulgarian Coriedale and North Caucasian breeds comparable by age, term of lambing, conditions of keeping and feeding.The results of the investigations show that the greatest deviations are found in the milk yield, content of dry matter and milk fat.No reliable differences have been found in the milk content of both sheep breeds, with the exception of the dry matter content.
