A parallel evaluation was made of the interbreed and interseasonal dynamics of blood serum total protein content in sheep from four breeds and a cross.A relatively clearly manifested role of breed appurtenance for the variability of the index studied was found, practically no significant effect of the season and a quite considerable effect of the interrelation between the two discussed sources of variation.
