Efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers at the split application (before sowing and in the phase of three leaf pair) correlates with the N-NO sub(3) supply in 60 cm soil layer. The increase of nitrogen fertilizer rates to N sub(120) leads to sugar content lowering and worsening of technological qualities of root crops
