Majority of the production of Champes Plusz Ltd. is large brown strain. No chemicals are applied during the growing process. Prior to the growing cycle, the walls and ceiling of the limestone cellars are lime washed, disinfected by high pressure steam and burned with gas flame. One-level growing is the typical method, wtih casing soil germination. Crop has to be picked twice or often three times a day, and 92 per cent of mushroom production is export quality. Growers also revealed the tricks of their trade.
