This article presents the current situation of the development of agricultural trade policy in Latvia. At the present moment trade policy in Latvia develops in two directions - harmonization of the laws and regulations, controling the domestic market, pursuant to the request of the World Trade Organization and the European Union and improvement of more open and liberal conditions to foreign trade.
