Veterinary medicine include the control of zoonoses in addition to the control of pharmacologically active substances, such as veterinary drugs and food additives. Research on current as rabies, Q-febris, brucellosis, salmonellosis, psittacosis, lymphocytic choriomeningitis, toxoplasmosis, trichinellosis, trapeworm infestation etc. During many years Research Centre "Sigra" and National Environmental Health Centre have made an excellent contribution to research and public health work.
