The varroacidal effectiveness of miticides - amitraz, bromfenvinphos and malathion in apiary conditions was tested. The miticides were spread, in plastic microlayer form, on PE strips and inserted to bee hives. High (96-100 percent) varroacidal effectiveness of strips, with all miticides during 6 weeks exposition, was found. However, amitraz was unstable in the plastic microlayer during the storage of strips. Malathion was not safe for bees.
