Earlier research of a few varieties and forms of Heracleum sibiricum L. on umbelliferone and the total content of furanocoumarines in different organs was useful for the elucidation of the chemotaxonomic and ecological significance of this class of plant metabolites. Concentration of some furanocoumarines in Heracleum sibiricum L. fruits collected in different stands of the wild population was examined. The ripe fruits of Heracleum sibiricum L. var. chaetocarpum Thellung and its leaf forms: varbossanium Thellung, rarum Gaw. and "intermediate" morphological form have been collected from 17 natural stands situated in Gdansk Pomerania. Methanolic extracts samples of fruits were analysed by HPLC. The level of furanocoumarins present in the examined variety and forms of Heracleum sibiricum L. fruits was different respectively to the forms and natural stands where the plant material was collected
